STEM Camps & Special Classes: Hands-On Innovation

Short-duration, high-impact learning experiences designed to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and build foundational skills in just a few days.

Weekly Schedule

Robotics and Coding Camp

Foundations (Perfect for beginners)

In our Robotics & Coding Week, campers will explore engineering, problem-solving, and creativity through hands-on robot building and programming. Using VEX GO (ages 6–10) and VEX IQ (ages 11–14), students will design, build, and code motorized robots to complete fun and engaging challenges.

Science Discovery Camp

Physics • Chemistry • Biology

During Science Discovery Week, campers will explore the exciting world of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology through hands-on experiments, interactive games, and engaging activities.

Coding & Math Camp

Scratch (Ages 6–10) • Python (Ages 11-14)

In Coding & Math Week, campers will strengthen their logical thinking, problem-solving, and math skills through computer programming. Younger campers will use Scratch, a visual, block-based coding platform, while older campers will learn Python, a real-world programming language used in science, data, and engineering.

Robotics & Coding Camp

Advanced Challenges & Creative Engineering

(Designed for both new and returning campers)
Campers dive deeper into robotics and coding through advanced challenges, creative problem-solving, and open-ended engineering projects. Using VEX GO (ages 6–10) and VEX IQ (ages 11–14), students will design, build, and code motorized robots to complete increasingly complex tasks

A Day at STEMatics Camp

Ages 6-14

Our campers work on age-appropriate STEM projects individually and in small groups to challenge their thinking and build perseverance.

Early drop-off for busy parents from 8 am to 9 am. Structured quiet activities and free play before the main camp day begins.
We kick off the day with high energy, and an introduction to the day's exciting STEM theme and challenges.
Hands-on project time! This is where the building, coding, and experimenting happens, guided by our expert instructors. Campers focus on one amazing week-long project, building incredible new skills as they transform their creative idea into reality
Enjoy a nut-free lunch from home and unstructured time to socialize and play with friends.
Campers get back to work on their amazing projects with help from our inspiring instructors and like-minded peers
Wrap up the day, share successes and project progress, and get excited for tomorrow's adventures.
Extended stay from 3 pm - 6 pm with supervised games, activities, and extra time for projects for parents needing later pick-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our weekly summer program welcomes children ages 6–14. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate, and we differentiate projects and challenges for younger (6–10) and older (11–14) campers.

our afternoon classes are offered separately and are available for students ages 5-17.
Weekly Camps run from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday. we offer optional extended care hours from 8am-9am and from 3pm-6pm.

Afternoon classes are between 4-8 PM.
No prior experience is required for any week. Each week is designed to accommodate beginners, while offering extensions and advanced challenges for returning students or those with prior experience.
Week 1 (Robotics & Coding Foundations) is a great starting point but not required for any other weeks. Week 4 (Robotics & Coding – Advanced Challenges) welcomes both new and returning students. Returning students can explore more complex builds, while new students receive guided onboarding. Weeks 2 (Science Discovery) and 3 (Coding & Math) are independent and can be taken in any order. You do not need to attend previous weeks to join any new week.
Week 1: Focuses on foundational robotics and coding skills. Students learn the basics of building motorized robots and writing simple code. Week 4: Focuses on advanced challenges and creative engineering. Returning students can apply what they’ve learned in Week 1, while new students are fully supported with onboarding and guided activities.
Week 1 & 4: Build and program robots using VEX GO & VEX IQ, complete coding challenges, use sensors, and work in teams to solve problems. Week 2: Conduct hands-on experiments in physics, chemistry, and biology, explore scientific concepts, and work on team challenges. Week 3: Learn coding with Scratch (ages 6–10) or Python (ages 11–14), integrate math concepts into projects, and create games, simulations, and problem-solving activities.
Activities are differentiated by age and skill level. Younger campers focus on foundational concepts and guided practice, while older campers tackle more complex challenges, advanced coding, and extended problem-solving activities. Campers are grouped for activities to maximize learning and collaboration.
